about

I wrote this song rather quickly. I was on foot walking back with my bass from dropping my car off on Adams, and I kept hitting the open B and made up all the lyrics and parts except for a couple lines added later. Another surrealist and natural flow of words, later admonished with some intra-logic of sorts.

lyrics

============================
I was born on a plain, with 2 right hands
It takes a sage, a philosopher, and an african
to begin to understand

We are cast offs!
Now we're castaways
I have broken both my right-handed arms, now they're in casts
I used to have money and no job,
now I have a job and no money,
and I have begun to understand why the wise men go on fasts

Sure I'm a philosopher, smoke this sage, my african friend
I will die on a plateau, with no left hands

about

Nothingful San Diego, California

Spangles of opportunity in which to dimension
into the angles of music and rhythms written in the air.
Sings, plays acoustic bass guitar, dobro, sax..
The songs are uncoventional in as so many
ways as he is musically untrained.
To play the bass in the way that Nothingful
makes it would be to so as in a tuning other than standard.
I am inspired by Laziness and randomness.

I LOVE LAST SECOND SHOWS.
